A Simple Face Mask from A Simple Table

Bentonite clay is made from aged volcanic ash and is one of the most effective and powerful healing clays. It helps to draw toxic pathogens and environmental toxins out of the body. It is known to be perfect for all skin types and aids the cleansing and healing process of the skin. Due to its detoxifying properties, bentonite clay can be drying, hence we advise moisturising well afterwards.

For one mask:

2 tsp bentonite clay
1 tbsp coconut oil
2 tsp water

Mix the ingredients together to form a paste and apply to the face in a thick layer. Make sure to avoid letting bentonite clay come in contact with metals as this will make its detoxifying less effective, since it will draw the properties of the metal it’s touching rather than from you. You can use wood, glass, ceramic or stone to mix the paste together.

Leave for 20 minutes – it will dry up and start to crack! Rinse off with warm water, then follow with a hydrating spray and moisturiser.
